A native of Portland Oregon, Brian Rooney moved to Los Angeles in 1991 and two years later found himself living at the hidden paradise of Malibou Lake. Having grown up surrounded by trees and mountains the Malibou Lake and countryside was very special to him.
Over the years he has documented the history of the area in his book, Three Magical Miles. The vast majority of his photographic work is in Black and White but for his gallery section here we see some of his recent color work.
