Second Saturday Nature Walk for Kids/Families

“Stories and Songs of the Elfin Forest” for children 5-11; Join Topanga Canyon Docent, Gale, for an all sensory experience.  Delight in the delicious scents of our scratch-n-sniff plants, hear the song of the acorn woodpecker and taste some of treats of the chaparral goodies like elderberry gummies and acorn cookies. Learn of the ecology of the chaparral and how the Chumash and Tongva shared their material culture.  We may even hear the shrill call of the Great Hawk, indicating that there is treasure nearby. FREE FAMILY EVENT! Meet at 10:00am in Topanga State Park, 20828 Entrada Road (pay parking lot) Come early for this 2.5 hour walk in the park.
